It has officially been 2 weeks since the last time I published/wrote anything for this blog. This isn’t the first time I’ve gone on a hiatus or blatantly stopped writing. But this time is a little different than those of the past.
In the last few years I’ve gained a solid following of readers that mostly make up close friends and family. For that, I will always be grateful and still can’t get over how tremendous their feedback has been. For everyone else who does not know me so closely, I also hold very dear your time and efforts stopping by, reading, commenting and just being one more click in my daily traffic report.
But the time has officially come to take a step back from Bumfuzzled Jane and focus my efforts elsewhere.
Bumfuzzled Jane is and always will be my little nook where my brain regurgitates life’s mysteries. I’ll always be here blathering on about the idiots at Publix who use my food as a bowling ball or my dear manicurist who is confident I’m getting fatter. This place is my home and my first home that I’ll never truly move away from now matter how occupied I become with other ventures.
So with that I am here to tell you that I will be changing a few things to the site and making it a “less is more” layout. I’ll post when I can about the same things as always and promise the content will never be a poor attempt to just “publish something.” My heart and soul goes into my writing no matter the topic or location and I will continue to do the same here.
I felt it necessary to not only you, my tiny little but significant audience, but to myself to make real what I’ve been thinking about for awhile. I’ll also be able to update you more on what this other thing is that will be selfishly sucking up all my time, very soon.
Until then, feel free to scrounge around my archives or drop me a note about a specific article of mine that you still remember you loved.
